Who We Are ?

5 Years in production of Quality Coffee

Darling coffee limited is a Ugandan specialty coffee processing company that was established in October 2019 and registered/incorporated by the government of Uganda through the Uganda Registration Services Bureau (URSB) on 25th August 2020. The company recognized low income earnings in the Mount Elgon whereby over 78% of the small holder farmers still live below the poverty line and currently works with over 400 small holder farmers in the Mount Elgon region.
By training and empowering farmers to produce high quality specialty coffee which fetches over 30% above the ordinary commercial coffee farm gate prices as well as introducing soft and easy to learn skills like liquid soap making, baking, mushroom growing to supplement their incomes most especially during the coffee offseason.

Our Service

Quality management/control.
We offer the service to coffee exporters and traders who do not have the required knowledge/skill and experience to handle and monitor coffee quality to the standards of Uganda Coffee Development Authority (UCDA) and Specialty Coffee Association (SCA).
Farmer-group trainings.
Our target market are coffee co-operatives, farmer groups and organizations that target to improve quality and efficiency in production of coffee.
Coffee Analysis
We target local processors and exporters who purchase coffee in parchment and green bean form. This involves moisture content, out-turn, retention, defect count/categorization and cupping/sensory analysis.
Coffee Consultancy
We offer this to different stakeholders in coffee and agriculture in categories of researchers and new investors in the coffee industry.

Our Products
We deal in strategic list of products as seen below:
(In exportable grades of AA, AB, A, CPB). These are sold to local roasters and small scale exporters especially in the capital city of Kampala with low sourcing capacity.
Bugisu Arabica green coffee beans
These are marketed and sold to coffee shops, hotels and restaurants with coffee machines that grind and brew coffee for their customers.
Roasted coffee beans.
(In 50gms, 100gms, 50gms). These are marketed and sold to hotels, restaurants and individuals. We also target and sell to supermarkets and kiosk at wholesale prices.
